Diane Hunter
I am a co-support group leader for the Montgomery Area Support Group. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan. I am a proud retiree, after 35 years of service with General Motors Corporation and Electronic Data Systems (currently HP) with the opportunity to do what I call “my heart’s work”, things that are dear and important to me. I am married with three daughters, four granddaughters and two grandsons.
My cancer journey has afforded me an opportunity to advocate for others and to provide help and support as they take their unique journeys. I can say that my quality of life is better on this side of my treatment experience. I do not look like what I have gone through. Through my experience, I can definitely encourage others to be hopeful and resilient!
